I need to send an Authenticated email via C# over exchange, does anyone have a code snipet as to how to specify the username and password for exchange? Thanks.

you need to send mail from Web application or a Desktop application?
For deskto app, if u want to have a complete automated solution(so that you don't have to provide user name,password settings for every user), the best option is to use Extended MAPI. It will work only if users have Outlook installed, It can automatically detect settings from Outlook and can send mail.
Sorry I am trying to send it through a Web application on the Company Intranet, and I have it working fine for sending to internal users, but external users I keep getting a 550 relay message. I read that if you get that message that is means the User sending isn't recognized with enough permissions to send to an external person. So I have to be able to log into exchange with a user ID and password.
I found the solution, thanks to everyone who tried to help. I have rewarded the points to the closest solution.
