How to convert uint keycode to Keys enum
Hello. I thought this would be quite easy but it is not... I have a uint keycode and I need to convert it to Keys enum. I use code like this:
private static Keys KeyCode2Keys(uint keyCode)
{
Keys ret = Keys.None;
uint keyModifier = keyCode >> 16;
switch (keyModifier)
{
case 0x10:
ret |= Keys.Shift;
break;
case 0x11:
ret |= Keys.Control;
break;
case 0x11 ^ 0x10:
ret |= Keys.Control | Keys.Shift;
break;
}
Keys key = (Keys)(keyCode & 0xFFFF);
ret |= key;
return ret;
}
the problem is that when the keycode is 0x13 (which is Keys.Pause), the return value is "LButton | RButton | ShiftKey". More funny is that the return value converted to string gives "Pause".
Does anyone have any idea? I would prefer not to use cycles.
