How do you read Video Metadata using ASP.NET + C# ??

I need to read metadata like height, width, length of video file formats like .mov, avi, .mpg etc... is this posible in ASp.NET and C#?

Also, is there a way to extract the first frame of the video file as a .JPG (to create a thumbnail)

Sir,
you need a to install FFMPEG (video processing library) on server 1st, then use TAO (http://www.taoframework.com/project/ffmpeg) to use it against your video files.
