I meant cannot go to the right, without any text in the box, but I guess you got that.

Browse All TopicsIn winforms .NET 3.5, I have a masked textbox that takes up to two numbers. When a user clicks into the box, the cursor goes to the last position, even if the box is empty. So the user has to back space twice or click to the beginning of the textbox before any input is accepted.
I tried this:

A textbox cursor cannot go 2 spaces to the left, if there is no text in there. If you absolutely want to always "select" 2 chars, even when it is empty, I think you have to check for an empty text box and add 2 spaces or zeroes first, then select them.
