For a Web Application, use Response.Write to write text to the web page.
I believe that the using Console.Write in a web application will write text to the immediate window in Visual Studio.

That code is for a C# console application, not a web one.
You should build an .asp page containing standard HTML, adding a text control (let's say, <asp:Label id='lbl'>) then in the code you set:
lbl.Text = "Hello World!";
