Can some body explain me how this works in in C#

System.Configuration.ConfigurationSettings is going to look into your App.Config file.  AppSettings means it will look in the AppSettings (or possibly Settings) section.  "MYWEBPageLink" is the name of the data element that will be retrieved.

The result is placed into the string variable "Page".

this code looks for the configuration file of the project and search for MYWEBPageLink attribute in the AppSettings section.

if your project doesn't come with configuration file, exception will be thrown.
or if MYWEBPageLink doesn;t exists in the AppSettings section of the config file, the result is null.

u can also create your own configuration file and load using the following code:
string configFile = "config_file_path.config";

ExeConfigurationFileMap configFileMap =
      new ExeConfigurationFileMap();
  configFileMap.ExeConfigFilename = configFile;

  // Get the mapped configuration file
 Configuration config =
    ConfigurationManager.OpenMappedExeConfiguration(
      configFileMap, ConfigurationUserLevel.None);

  if u use more than one configuration file or u wish to have custom configuration sections appart from the project app.config, this is what ur looking for.
