Can someone please provide a groovy script that parses a log file for a specific string? I am very new to groovy. Thanks

Will this do?

It will take a search string as the first parameter, then files as the following parameters, and search for the string in the files...

Sorry...  should be this...  I incremented the lineNo in the wrong place ;-)

Me again...  instead of

    args[ 1..(args.size()-1) ]

This will work as well (and is much neater)

  def files = args[ 1..-1 ]

So for brevity, we have:
