Before getting the above exception i was using hibernate3 & antlr2.7.4
After that I updated to antln2.7.6. The exception is not coming. But its not supporting the query like:
select * from User (User is my bean name).
from User (Its supporting only this qrery, after removing select * its supporting now)
Why?? Any reason???

the reason is Hibernate query doesnt take * , bcz the take the * as one of the colum in ur table but they didnt find cloum name called * so thats its say error
just check select user_name from user like this !!

See what version of hibernate you have and then lookup javadoc for that version. The particular method you are trying to use may not be in that version of hibernate.
So you may either need to use a different hibernate version or use an alternate method.
