Here is my problem.
i have a drop down box.
this drop down box has {H,F,C} // this is fixed.
when the user selects one value from this drop down box (say, F) , this goes to the server side java class, makes a DB connection , creates a string
"<select name=\"sel2\"><option value=\"1\">c1</option><op
this returned to the client JSP via a <div> tag
and consequently, the client/user gets another drop down box.
Now, i have a problem. when the user selects a value in this second drop down box i want to go to server, make a DB connection , and want to display the editable records (for that chosen value) for the user to update.
this part i am not able to do.
The problem is:

if i call a java class, make a DB connection and i can get the records . but how do i forward the records to a JSP page for the user to update the records ?
a simple java class can not forward the records to a JSP page .
