JSP redirect

I have a JSP page and I want to redirect the page after 45 seconds to a previous page (Like clicking the browser back button), and then back immediately (Zero seconds) to the same page.  (Like clicking the browser forward button). Thank you

u can give the a herf in the  back button and mention where that will go ..

response.setheader() for time delay !!

use html 302 to do this and pass the page name as value through jsp tags. This value u can get as http-referer. or pass it as querystring from whatever u redirect. how 302 via html - see thiss link.

or use a javascript timer in the target page to redirect back to the page which u need.

Thank you for your help. I am trying to achieve a result similar to someone hitting the browser back button after 40 seconds, and then hitting the forward button immediately.
