html form and database
I have an html form and I want to enter the values from the HTML form into a databse using jsp.. How do I do this. make the html a jsp page and do it there. or create a separate jsp page to get the attributes and insert the values?

I would create a separate JSP page to POST the form data to, have that JSP do the validation / cleanup on the POST data, insert it into the database and return the user to a confirmation page or the same form with a confirmation if the use case required.
