I need to get a handle of an IE window by URL that is already opened using JSP (Java). How can I do this? What I need to do is get form value's from a page that is already opened.

Can you give me an example? I've seen those links but struggling with the concept. Let's say I use javascript to open:

and click the first new window button that opens a new window what would be the code to achieve that?
in that page, the first example shows the javascript method to open the 2nd window:
window.open('http://www.pa
in order to have a handle to the window that is opened, you need to assign it to a variable for later use, eg:
var mywin = window.open('http://www.pa
then you can do something with the handle - for example, this code will immediately close the 2nd window after opening it:

Hi!
For that you have to use JavaScript and get the window.handle.
That is use javascript to open the window and then you have full corntrol of it.
