Java mail line breaks not working

Hi I have an java mail sender which is sent from a ascii text source like that of below. The line breaks are not appearing in the emails. I have tried the following

\r\n

all with no joy

may be better off sending html email

will have a look how javamail deals with line breaks

It seems that it is a javamail problem and not the string as I can see the line breaks correctly when I print it out to the terminal/logs

I will use html if I have to but I would rather not.

Yes you are right I had the mail set as text/html I set it to text/plain and it worked. Thanks for the help
