for e.g., "12345" can be converted to 12345 but not "12three45" to int

I tried by using the above 2 cases
but i'm getting the following prob:
java.lang.NumberFormatExce
at java.lang.Integer.parseInt
at java.lang.Integer.parseInt
Are there any other ways to convert a string into an int in java????

you can't convert a string to int, only string representation of a number can be converted to int
