try to print all the header parameters in the request and see whether you get what you want

the mobile number (MSISDN) is available on most operators - but the catch is that it can be received on the server when the mobile sends a HTTP request over GPRS. So, once the request hits the server (of whichever website visited), the MSISDN can be seen there, but the MOBILE WILL NOT KNOW the MSISDN.
yeh, it will be got from only server. But to know about the header, one has to talk to service provider for that.
hit your server where a servlet will be running,
get that header and resend to your mobile, this way u can use it.
i posted a detail answer in an other thread, i thought its the same one.
anyways you can have it using gprs, server and permision (means what name service provider is using to give MSISDN). Everty operator has its own header and its normally not public.
