i want to play wav file from directory from lan network . i know how to play wav file from lacal machine using jmf, but i can not access the directory from my application and playing wav files from it . i tried to accesss to ftp server and it is working. but it is not my solution.
can someone provide code to enter directory from java application and how can i play that wav files or
links can i refer to get more information

if it is in LAN and you don't prefer ftp, I think, the only other option is to map the directory into your machine!
