starting with javabeans

Zones: New to Java Programming, Java AWT & Swing, Java Standard Edition
Hi,

I am trying to create some custom controls in java desktop and i realised that i need to do it using javabeans. I tried googling for javabeans but most dont tell me what are the tools needed , libraries etc. Does anyone know how i can go around starting with it?
