The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Java and oops

Asked by kesavan_sridhar in Java Programming Language, Microsoft Visual C++, Delphi Components

Hi Here are a few java questions:

1)A java class containing a object of some class as one of its attributes is an example of aggregation or just a reference to the object
  of the class? Does the concept of containment or aggregation exists in java?

2)Is there any significant difference in runtime between executing a class containing native method and running the same
class with the  code of the method written in java itself?

3)How do you pass the constructor parameters for an object of a class "ABC" declared inside some class "xyz" while
creating an object of class xyz(object of class ABC is an attribute of Class ABC)
Could it be done only by passing the required values as parameter to the constructor of class xyz and then calling the
constructor of class ABC with those values? The following code may explain the situation better:

class xyz
{
xyz()  { }
ABC objectofABC; //ABC is a class defined somewhere
public void createobject()
objectofABC = new objectofABC(someint1,someint2,someint3)

}

my question is that whether the values someint1,someint2.someint3,should be passed to class xyz constructor as parameters and then these
parameters should be passed to constructor of class ABC OR is there any other way of doing it?

4)Does java provide any class for storing and maintaining a group of data which may be of different types
(somethin like C language's Struct),so that a  group of records,each record containing data could be handled?
