I am writing a java application to do ZIP and UNZIP methods. Its fine if both ZIP and UNZIP are done in the same Environment(i.e. both done at Windows NT). But if ZIP and UNZIP is done in different environment (i.e. ZIP is done in Windows NT and UNZIP is done in Unix), then problem occurs as the java application can't unzip the zip file properly which is zipped from the same java application.

For example, the zip file contain a file, "..\temp\cool.html", but after unzip, the file can't be unzipped properly, instead, a file named "\temp\cool.html" with no data is created in Unix. Its something related to the problem of file separator as its different in Window and Unix environment.

How to avoid the problem of different file separator in doing the ZIP function in Window and UNZIP function in Unix and vice versa.
