Graph Theory Implementation in Java

I have create java applet to draw network devices with random position, I need to draw those network devices
in proper position. My friend said, I need some graph
theory to implement.
Anyone have some example about Graph Theory Implementation in Java ?
I think there is a lot of graph theory, but I need one
that suit to my problem (draw network devices)

Hi mariuso,

Thanks for your links, but I don't know how to use it
I have tried the demo, it reads from .dot files for drawing graph. It is not what I want.
I only need algorithm to draw a map, not read from some configuration files.
Maybe you can help me ?

I have my own way how to draw graph.
eg. I have 20 network device display in applet, I dont't want one device overlap another device. Currently I don't have edge/links between devices, so I only need x & y position for all devices

Please explain me better what you want and I think I'll be able to explain u. I'm profesor in computer science in university level and I teach some graph courses too . So, be more concrete please.
