hello dear friends...i want to know if i want to give a print command from my java program how can i do it..for example...i want to print some string on paper with the use of printer..!!!! so how can i do it with java program....my string which is to be printed is stored in java program

Hi,
There are few problems that we encountered......
When we give print command and when u try to print it will print to the printer connected to the server, not on the client.
In order to avoid it, we can use javascript print in terms of printing in the client window...
Can u pls explain whether u r work is related webserver or an application.
