Or you could just use javap.exe which comes with the JDK install...

Best one I know of is JAD. It is referenced in the Linux HOWTO as indicated above, but the link is not currently active. Seems maybe the author was done in by his own success and his ISP shut him down for exceeding allotted traffic limits? Anyway, there is another source here:

Also try JODE, The Java Obfuscate and Decomplie Environment, which is free. Just check with [ http://jode.sourceforge.net/ ].

It has a usable Swing GUI which makes it easy to decompile any class files into readable source code.
