keyword search ?

Hi:
   I am working on a problem that requires that I find a keyword within a text file. I have tokenized the input and I can easily locate the keyword as an exact  token match but if the keyword appears within a token then it is missed.

example:
keyword = mary
File contains "mary had a little lamb". Keyword is found.
File contains "littlemary had a lamb". Keyword is not found.

Can someone please help me solve the problem?

Why u don't use String indexof(String) method ?
ie:
String st = "littlemary had a lamb";
boolean b = (st.indexof("mary") > -1); // b will be true

BTW, the method is indexOf(String) (not indexof)

Try this:

my text.txt file contains two lines:

File contains "mary had a little lamb". Keyword is found.
File contains "littlemarymary had a lamb". Keyword is not found.

the output is:

Keyword found on line 0 on pos: 15
Keyword found on line 1 on pos: 21
Keyword found on line 1 on pos: 25
