valueOf doesn't work in C#. Here are the ways to do it in .NET C#:
// conversion, string to integer
private static int ConvertToInt(string strToConvert)
{
int intValue = int.Parse(strToConvert);
return intValue;
}
call it like: int myIntValue = ConvertToInt(myStringValue
If you are converting an integer to string, just do:
string myNewStringValue = myOldIntValue.ToString();

a) String a = "" + 23424; // juast add the number to an empty string NO null String!!!
b)
int x = 7678678;
String a = Integer.parseInt(x); // this is the better way but try i am ot sure and cannot check but I think this was other way round.....
