SortedSet not removing an element itself returned

I've got this function:

private Vector minim(TreeSet entrada)
{
Vector punt = (Vector) entrada.first();

System.out.println("contains?"+entrada.contains(punt));

System.out.println("removed?"+entrada.remove((Vector) entrada.first()));

return punt;
}

and works well except for a case, where it return false in both cases... any hint of how to fix it?
