Browse All TopicsHello,
I have a C++ program, that allows you to input a Frequency to give off, then it does so.. all with code (nothing too special). However, I would like to allow my Java program to do a similar thing.
Now, here's the situation: When a certain button is pressed, the program gives off a certain frequency, likewise, when another button is pressed, another, specific, frequency is given off.
My question:
** Is there a way to do this in pure Java (give of specific frequencies), without the use of JNI? **
If not, then I will just record the frequencies (created by the C++ program) into an MP3 file, and play that instead. What are your recommendations?
Thanks in advance,
[r.D]

Windows only at the moment. Extract the dll to your system directory. Put the jar in your classpath and call:
Beep.beep(int freq, int duration);
(there's no package)
I'll add it to my examples todo list :)
