java.sql.SQLException: Invalid column type

           while inserting in to table i am checking whether  address is null or not.

            when address is null its going else block getting exception
             java.sql.SQLException: Invalid column type
                              
                              if(address != null)
                        {
                              pStmt.setLong(139,address.addressId);

                        }
                        else
                        {
                              pStmt.setNull(139,Types.NULL);
                        }

hi,

This is not correct AFAIK...

You need to supply the type of the data, so, for example, if address.addressId is a number you would use:

 pStmt.setNull(139,Types.NUMERIC);

or if its a String,

 pStmt.setNull(139,Types.VARCHAR);

etc.

ha... looking at the rest of your code, its pretty clear its a number...

so

 pStmt.setNull(139,Types.NUMERIC);

should do the trick.

Replace
 pStmt.setNull(139,Types.NULL);
with
 pStmt.setNull(139,Types.INTEGER);
or with whatever describes this column - VARCHAR/NUMERIC etc.
