For starters, I'd be happy to know how to pipe the output to a another program. Illustrating my need with an example Windows command:
dir *.java | sort /R > listing.txt
dir outputs to sort that will output to a file (the switches are needed)
I know how to redirect the output of a program to a file, but how do I pipe it to another program?
Thanks in advance! :)
