Question

Math.atan returns wrong result?

This might seem stupid... but when I do the line of code


System.out.println( Math.atan(2.73));


it returns 1.21.. as the answer.

However, when I do Tan-1 2.73 on my calculator, it returns 69.9... as the answer.

Whats going on, and how do i get it display the 69 answer?

The result is in radians. Use Math.toDegress
