Problem reading input from a console program

I made a java console program under Windows XP.

I need to read some data from console input, a long list of shorts lines, some kbs in total.

To imput this data I copy and paste it from a text file; my problem is that I must split this operation into many copy and paste because if I copy and paste all data in one shot the program generates an error.

I declare stdin as

BufferedReader stdin = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(System.in), 65536);

and read input in this way:

String inputLine = "";
String newLine = "\r" + "\n";
String multipleLineReply = "";

inputLine = stdin.readLine();
while (true)
{
if (inputLine.toLowerCase().equals("<end>"))
break;

multipleLineReply += inputLine + newLine;

inputLine = stdin.readLine();
}

Where is the problem?
