Use a backslash in front of the space (i.e., /users/my\ java/bin/ )

Browse All Topicsmy class file is at the folder such as "/users/my java/bin". How do i dear with this space character when running java command. I used quote string but is does not work:
java -cp "/users/my java/bin/" -classpath .... myClass
BTW, this command works under Windows, but it does not work under MacOS
