Thanks for your first link ysnky. Is it right that if I want to use FREE driver with no any limitation I must use ODBC-JDBC bridge?

Hi,
I am searching for a free driver also. I want to test the performance in 1,000,000 records table (one dbf file). htxx is good. Also I want to test J-STEL but the performance and a preparing document for it is the first job that I must do it. It's better to find a free driver at first.

Hi,
J-STEL makes swap file and it is very slow to run a query. My DBF file has 1 GB size.

I guess the ODBC Driver for FoxPro by Microsoft don't use index file (*.CDX) file but the hxtt (jdbc type 4) use index if it exists. Is it right?
