I have a JFrame class in which with a button I pop a JDialog. In this newly created JDialog a JButton pops up a JFileChooser and I select some jpeg files. And after that I create ImageIcons from those selected jpeg files and I add them to a JPanel with JLabels taking the created ImageIcons as their icons. There is nothing wrong till here. But I can only see the images if I somehow resize the dialog.

I thought this is because the focus is lost from the dialog after I do these operations. I tried requestFocus() on both JPanel and JDialog and I tried both revalidate() and repaint() on again the both; but nothing worked???? Is there something wrong with what Im doin?
