I am trying to clean up some code that was generated for me using a code generator reporting tool. My project as 100's of these annoying warnings that state "Type safety: The method put(Object, Object) belongs to the raw type Map. References to generic
type Map<K,V> should be parameterized". I am new to Java 5 (last used 1.3), so I am not sure what is barking at. These warnings appear on the source code lines like << ((Map) table.get(column1)).put(row, "some content"); >> as shown below.
