How do I prevent a Java program from terminating even if it encounters a database error?

This is a general question, really... but I'd be glad to provide any necessary information to help in getting a solution. The question is this:

I'm processing a set of records from a sequential input file; and from these set of records, I execute certain database commands (inserts/stored procedures/updates) depending on certain conditions. These are coded in this structure:

try {
// code logic
} catch(SQLException sqle) {
// exit code
}

My problem is that there can be certain erroneous records that may encounter problems (e.g. - integrity constraint violation, missing data, etc) upon execution of the database commands. This obviously generates an exception and the program terminates without the succeeding records being processed.

Considering there is no way to determine which record is going to cause problems, how do I handle the input in such a way that the program does not terminate once it encounters a problem? Instead, it should just ignore the exception and proceed in processing the remaining records.

I included some pseudocode to help you guys picture the dilemma. Thanks!
