Yes, the normal paste action, as i mentioned. It's really not a good idea to change this, as it violates the 'principle of least astonishment'. Personally if i picked up a piece of software that did this, i'd drop it quickly in favour of something else.

If I remember well, Ctrl/C/V/X was invented by the Windows team of XEROX when
they developed X-Windows in the 70's.

The only way to do that afaik, would be to implement copy and paste yourself, binding the actions to the keystrokes you want
