Hello,
My java application calls methods from DLL (COM interface) to connect to a special server.
To connect to the server using this DLL, now, I need to access to web application (of this server), using the username, password and save this password. (Username, password prompt when accessing to this web application) - the purpose is to let the dll may find the successful credentical. If not, the dll will raise an exception (like that: can not access to the server)
My question is:
How can I do all these steps in my application?
For example
      public void connect(String server, String username, String password) {
        try{
              //call COM function
              connectToServer(server);
        }
        catch(COMException e) {
              //if we can not connect to server
              //we need to do ourself to create a successful connection to this user
              try{
                    THE_FUNCTION_LIKE_INPUT_USERNAME_PASSWORD_SAVEPW_IN_PROMPT_DIALOG_WHEN_OPEN_WEB_APPLICATION(server, username, password);
              }
              catch(InvalidCredentialException e) {
                    throw e;
              }
              //here, we are sure that we created a successful connection, then, recall the COM function
              connectToServer(server);       
        }
      }

Where is the dll looking for the credentials?

In my code example
connectToServer(server)
this function will connect to server if there is a "successful session" on the machine which run the program.
