Rounding Numbers in MatLab

I need to round some numbers to end with one of these: .00, .25, .50 and .75. I think they can be represented exactly in binary so precision shouldn't be a problem. Is there an easy way to do this in MatLab?

I found this, I'm afraid I don't use matlab though so I am unable to test it:

The above looks very close to the mround function in excel, the sysntax for that is mround(num, multiple) and looks the same as he is doing here. For you the multiple will be 0.25 .

No that wouldn't work. I need the number to round off to whichever of .00, .25, .50 and .75 the number is closest. I feel like I should be using modulus but not sure.

I'm sure Excel has a function for everything:) but I can't use Excel. I need to integrate this into my application.

This simple operation may do what you need:

y=round(x*4)/4;

I don't see why not, anything ending in .00, .25, .50 or .75 is a multiple of .25.

yuk99's solution looks a lot simpler though.
