Browse All TopicsI have created a menu items(TAction) dynamically and added to TActionMainMenuBar using the method AddAction().
Again I have to remove the dynamically created TAction items and add another set of dynamically created TAction items. I was able to destroy the items created, but their reference is still exists. The form component count is increasing when a new TAction is created, but the component count is not decreasing when it is destroyed. How to remove the TAction items permanently?

Hi, just detroying the items from the list will not remove it from the list. It still refers to the destroyed object. To remove it from the list you will need to call delete method of the collection.
lient.Item s[1].Items [Index]; // item to delete lient.Item s[1].Items .delete(in dex);
e.g.
Item := ActionMainMenuBar1.ActionC
ActionMainMenuBar1.ActionC
item.Free; // In Delphi, we never call the destructor directly.
