TGPGraphicsPath is a Delphi wrapper to the GDI plus class GraphicPath. Here is the link to the Microsoft definition.

Being a wrapper to the windows class, this is just the "Delphi way" to use the same functionality. Taken from the MS site:
A GraphicsPath object stores a sequence of lines, curves, and shapes. You can draw the entire sequence by calling the DrawPath method of a Graphics object. You can partition the sequence of lines, curves, and shapes into figures, and with the help of a GraphicsPathIterator object, you can draw selected figures. You can also place markers in the sequence, so that you can draw selected portions of the path.
A quick look at the TGPGraphicsPath class shows many methods for adding lines, curves, bezier curves, etc. Once you have built your path you can use the path the same as you would in the Microsoft note.
The following link has several examples of using GDI plus in Delphi, 3 (that I saw) show examples using the TGPGraphics Path.
