Experts,
I have a TCP client application that works great except I can't get it to behave gracefully if the server isn't found. I've set the ConnectTimeout value but it doesn't seem to do anything. If it can't make a connection it hangs for 20 or 30 seconds and then gives an error instead of the 1 second I've set it to.
How do I actually set a value for this, or is there another way?
Configuration details: Indy10 with Delphi 2009, TldTCPClient on Vista Home Premium SP2
