| With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating. - The Grade of the Solution
- The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
- The Number of Author and Expert Comments
- The Number of Experts Contributing
- The Feedback of the Community
Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. Hi,
We are looking for a good "anything to pdf" component. I know from experience that we'll need a virtual pdf printer to do this. I'm not looking for information on how to create this myselve, but for information about users who have used a certain component and have found it to be working without any problems. We (our company) had already purchased a pdf library (gnostice pdftoolkit vcl + gnostice print2edoc sdk) but we arent too happy about it since there are some problems with it. (access violations etc).
These are our needs :
- virtual pdf printer so we can print from any application to this printer
- the license must allow us to distribute the printer to our clients without additional costs
- some (automatic & transparant) deployment method for this printer
- include source code (if its really working like it should be we won't need this)
I looked at novapdf and it seems to meet our requirements but we are a bit affraid to fall in the same problems as we had with gnostice (no source code, at least for the printer part and deployment kit and it contained bugs). So we would like an opinion of the experts.
