Pixels to cm/inch
Help me! I want to convert pixels to cm/inch. As we know that indent property in TRichEdit uses LongInt type which refer to pixels.
So, please give me a formula to convert pixels to cm /inch!

First of all you will need to determine which DPI (dots per inch) you will be using. The screen DPI is typically 72 for standard 15" monitors, but it will grow if you use larger monitors. A 21" monitor will have a DPI value of aprox 112 if it runs in a resolution of 1600x1200.
After you have determined your DPI value, you can convert it to pixels/per inch by multilying the inch value by the DPI value.
Ex. 72 DPI:
2 inches indention (in pixels) = DPI*2
72 DPI gives (72/2.54) DPCM (which is dots per cm)
2 cm indention (in pixels) = DPCM*2
Remember that the DPI value is different on various equipment - ex. printers DPI is typically 300 to 1200.
