Delphi Library Path - Limit

Is any limit in this field?, i add about 200 components to my Delphi environment, i was adding one more but i always got RTL error in my package, that says System.pas not found. Next i delete a couple of lines from library path and try to re-compile my package and all works. So i ask... Is any limit here?

There is a limit on the length of the search path, although I don'trecall what it is. I DO know however that if you use subdirectories off of the Delphi root directory and the $(DELPHI) macro in the search path, it saves a lot of characters. Good luck!!

I would think that the limit is prob. the same as the win32 constant MAX_PATH which = 260.

if i install all of my components into c:\program files\borland\delphi6\here, then i am safe?

Should be. Another option would be to group them into packages & install those.
