Delphi install

Well the way I have done it in the past is to export the Delphi registry keys then merge the .reg file for the new install. When I install my components and Delphi I have them install themselves all under the same parent directory for example "C:\Development\Components" ? "C:\Development\Delphi". Now all I need to do is to copy this parent directory to the new install. Note the paths must be identical on both the old install and the new install to get this to work. Also some components are dll's, ocx's, etc that may need to be registered with the system before they will work but this is pretty easy and reasonably fast to do. Doing this has worked for me and I have done it on many occasions. Also copy over all your .bpl's that reside in your System directory.
