How can I highlight a DBGrid-Row without clicking it

How can I highlight a DBGrid-Row without clicking on it by myself. When I click on a button the Grid should be highlighted. And when I say "DBGrid.SelectedRows.Count" the result should be "1"!
The Options of the Grid are: MultiSelect = true and RowSelect = true.

on the button click put this

 if  DBGrid1.DataSource.DataSet.Locate('yourfield',' somefield value',[loCaseInsensitive]) then
    DBGrid1.SelectedRows.CurrentRowSelected:=True;
