So should I remove rtl from the packages list and try compiling it again? Will this make the program heavier? My program contains no ActiveX.

Browse All TopicsHello,
I am using Delphi 7 Personal. In my options, all packages (including "rtl") are included. When I compile and run a program, I can run the executable on my computer but when I distribute it and send it to contacts, they have a runtime error saying they need the "rtl70.bpl" runtime (which I can't find myself on my computer!).
Please may you help me? Should I reinstall Delphi?

It should be in C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32. I assume the reason it runs on your computer and not anyone else's is because you have Delphi installed on it and are using an ActiveX runtime component.
