Yes, but the user can still select the item and check the checkbox... What I want is have both the grayed color and not be able to select the item and respective checkbox.

Any idea how can this be acomplished with the regular TListView?
Thanks,

Ok... hufff
Use the event OnChanging
This example avoid the selection in the Item 2 of the ListView.
Put your condition instead...
procedure TForm1.ListView1Changing(S
Change: TItemChange; var AllowChange: Boolean);
begin
if Change=ctState then begin
//Avoid the selection of Item 2 (put here your condition 'If Disabled')
If Item=ListView1.Items[2] then AllowChange:=FALSE;
end;
end;

Hi!
awItem(Sen der: TCustomListView; clRed; clBlack;
You can show the items with the OnCustomDrawItem with any color.
Example (shows different color for even and odd items):
procedure TForm1.lvEdificiosCustomDr
Item: TListItem; State: TCustomDrawState; var DefaultDraw: Boolean);
begin
if (Item.Index AND 1)=1 then begin
Sender.Canvas.Font.Color:=
end else begin
Sender.Canvas.Font.Color:=
end;
end;
You can use any other color (gray?) for show the item disabled...
