Question

Createing a Custom Border on a form

Asked by: coondog

I need to create a custom  border on a form that looks like the one at the following link:
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/illus/5/28/52528.jpg

I need the border to resize when the form resizes as well.  Can you give me some code to show me how to draw a custom border that looks like this one and resizes?

Thanks.

You could handle wm_nc* messages to do this (for example - wm_ncpaint)

Calinutz,

Thanks for the hard work helping me out.  I have accepted your answer since you kind of inspired me to just draw it myself and make it work the way it needs to.  I did it a little different by drawing  a box around the form and then drawing the cross lines on the border.  Anyway here is the code I ended up with.  Thanks to all for the help.
