Delphi 2006 and Dot Net 2 - can it be done

Just got BD Studio 2006, the install pulls the native dot net components from the DotNet 1 directory, can it use Dot Net 2 components

Not in direct way

D2006 target to .Net 1.1, and the new version of delphi (highlander) will support the .Net 2

but you can use D2006 compiler to compile code for .Net 2, it will not compile from the IDE, but it will work using the Delphi command line compiler

for Console App for .Net 2
